Last week on WOW, Danger won the title from Terri Gold. Ice Cold got a haircut courtesy of Lana Star. Caged Heat defeated Beckie and Bronco Billie to advance to the finals of the tag team tournament thanks to a little help from Jungle Grrrl. And Jungle Grrrl challenged Beckie to a splash match. We see it all in this intro.

David McLane is in his office and the Beach Patrol arrive. They want to talk about the swimsuit contest. They suggest the fans vote on the winner on the internet. They tell McLane that Venus Swimwear will supply the suits for free. McLane is overjoyed until he hears Summer and Sandy talking about prize money as they leave, you see he's cheap. They plugged everything possible in this segment, the PPV, the website, the PPV again talk about going overboard.

Lana Star is introduced by David McLane. Apparently she's the woman of 1,000 nicknames or something now. Her opponent is Roxy Powers, complete with new yellow outfit. McLane streches her name for about 15 seconds, Roxxxxxxxxxxxyyyyyyyyyyy Powers! Roxy hits a fireman's carry to take down Lana and then Lana hits the facelift and goes to grab the scissors. Ice Cold runs to the ring and a "fan" gives her a big mirror. Ice nails Lana with it and Patti Pizzazz runs to the ring to make the save. The "fan" spits venom into Patti's face, wait it's not a fan it's Poison! What a shocker! Ice cuts off a few chunks of Lana's hair and then challenges her to head shave match.

Jungle Grrrl takes on Lotus, she controls most of the match and hits some cool moves. She hits a nice clothesline after climbing the ropes and then a meltdown (pumphandle powerslam). She uses the top rope splash to get the win. Beckie runs to the ring and dropkicks Jungle Grrrl for behind and out of the ring.

Lana & Patti accept Ice Cold's challenge. Okay didn't she just challenge Lana, why is it suddenly a tag team match?

Riot takes on Jane Blond in our next match. This match starts out with some back and forth action as the two exchange headlocks. Riot does a leapfrog and then Jane does one about twice as high in the air. Jane goes to work on the arm. Riot eventually gains control but is slammed off the top rope. Then Jane goes to the top and is tossed off by Riot. Riot then locks on the Crippler Crossface but Jane gets to the ropes. Riot then hits a powerslam. Then she puts Jane on her shoulders and gives her a Torture Rack Backbreaker. Jane comes back but misses the Kick of Death. Riot hits the powerbomb to win the match. After the match Wendi Wheels attacks Riot with a trash can lid and nails the Blow Out. Wendi then challenges Riot to a hardcore match at the PPV and Riot accepts.

Harley's Angels take on the Beach Patrol. They sort of gave away the ending to this match with that earlier PPV Promo. Anyways the Beach Patrol start by taking out all 3 of Harley's Angels. They continue to control the match but eventually Harley's Angels take it to Summer. The Beach Patrol recover and both deliver full nelson slams. Summer eventually takes the Bronco Buster from EZ. And then Harley's Angels are thrown into each other. Thug gets in the ring behind the ref's back and slams Sandy and gives her the Vader splash off the second rope. Charlie covers and Harley's Angels win the match. They will face Caged Heat at the PPV.

After this match McLane tells us that Bobby "The Brain" Heenan will be a guest announcer at WOW Unleashed. I hope that means McLane won't be an announcer.

No major happenings on this show but they are still building to the PPV. If I have to see more promos I'm gonna be sick. It's the same thing over and over but in a different order. A couple of fairly good matches here but the production blunders are annoying. They spoiled the main event completely by giving away the winner earlier in the show. And I still think Ice challenged Lana and then it suddenly became a tag match.
